This group consists of poorly drained, somewhat poorly drained, fine textured ( clay loam to clay or silty clay ) on flood plain or low-lying terrace. They are low fertility and so strong acid. Soils in this group are Bang Nara (Ba), Chiang Rai (Cr), Su Ngai Kolok (Gk), Klang (Kl), Klong Kut (Kl), Manorom (Mn), Nakhorn Panom (Nn), Pak Thor (Pth), Pawong (Paw), Patalung (Ptl), Satul (Stu), Tasala (Tsl) and Wangtong (Wat) series.
               Most land uses have been contributed to paddy rice in rainy season and cash crops in dry season (after harvesting of paddy rice).
